Psalm 78:4, 6-8; NIV

"4 We will not hide [what we have heard & known] from our children;
we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD,
his power, and the wonders he has done.

6 so the next generation would know them,
even the children yet to be born,
and they in turn would tell their children.

7 Then they would put their trust in God
and would not forget his deeds
but would keep his commands.

8 They would not be like their forefathers—
a stubborn and rebellious generation,
whose hearts were not loyal to God,
whose spirits were not faithful to him."

Psalm 78:4, 6-8; New International Version

This is one of many prayers Jason and I are praying for our little one (we especially love the line "even the children yet to be born"). Just that we will always remember to teach our children of the things God has done in our lives in hopes that their generation will be more loyal and faithful than our generation has been!

  1. I am recommending Chris Rice's "Living Room Sessions" for your belly music. Beautiful piano and an early introduction to hymns.
    (I shall enjoy commenting on your blog excessively now....) :-)
